Shipping Tips
Do yourself a favor...
DON'T bring your repair order to a "UPS Store"
For the best value, you want to pack the item yourself. You can use an old Amazon box or double-up bubble shipping bags.
Print your shipping label on-line!
Not only will you skip the lines but you will save money! The UPS store charges a premium shipping cost and very high prices for packaging your order or providing boxes.
On-line you can ship a phone in for repair using UPS for less than $10. In the UPS store it will probably cost $25 or more.
The best option is to use a Paypal account to ship to anyone using USPS or UPS
Follow this link: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now
You can go directly to UPS.com or USPS.com but it's way more complicated than Paypal and you will be charged higher rates than the paypal link
BEFORE you enter an address, decide if you want to use UPS or USPS. UPS requires a first time simple signup agreement and Paypal will erase your address entered causing you to have to enter it again.
- Do not pay for additional insurance
If you pack it well it will be fine and trying to claim insurance is a hassle and time consuming. Take the time NOW and pack your item well, it's not hard. - Do not enter a package value
UPS ground includes $100 insurance and USPS Priority Mail includes $50
It is super rare for damage or lost packages. Save your money.... buy a lottery ticket with it.
