If the serial number on the phone and base receiver do not match then they will not work. There is no option to register a different phone to the base for this model. I can re-program the phone and base to make them talk to each other.  Note: Only one phone can work with each base. 

This service does not include any repair. If you have a phone that needs repair and also mismatched serial numbers this can be added to repair service for a discount.
